My condolences to the Frank family on the loss of such a remarkable lady. I always enjoyed seeing Mildred when I visited Daytona, and I was impressed by her independence and the full, rich life she lived. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

It was my pleasure to assist Mildred for many years. She was constantly thinking of ways to help those who were blind, visually impaired, or handicapped in some way, to live more vibrant and successful lives. She truly was a phenominal woman and leader in the field of low vision instruction who leaves her mark on all those who had the honor of working with her.
