Mrs. Mildred Frances Hiles Hunt

Mrs. Mildred Frances Hiles Hunt, age 78, of 1945 Cragmont Street, Madison, Indiana, entered this life on April 15, 1928, in Scott County, Kentucky, the daughter of Earl Scott & Annabelle Dixon Hiles both of whom preceded her in death. She was raised in the Georgetown, Walton & Verona, Kentucky area. She was united in marriage in 1946, to Robert F. Whitson, Sr. and he died in 1989. She was later married in 1958, to William Ernest Dunn, and he died on Feb. 14, 1981. She was married again on Feb. 23, 1984, to Reginald Hunt and he died in 1997. She had resided in Madison the past 40 years and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was employed as a cook at the old Briar Patch Restuarant, Douglas's Restuarant, Fiesta Restuarant & the Hillside Inn, for many years. She enjoyed cooking, caring for her grandchildren, socializing with her friends & her Chihuahua: Killer. She also had been a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge; Auxiliary of Jefferson Post 9 of the American Legion & the Madison Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star. She had been in ill health since 2001. Mildred died Monday, June 19, 2006, at 10:08 pm at the Hickory Creek of Madison.

A LOVING FAMILY
Mrs. Hunt will be missed by her daughters: Mary Ann Gordon Chambers & her husband: Robert of Milan, Indiana & Diane Frances Vest of Moores Hill, Indiana; her sons: Jeffrey Whitson & his wife: Charlotte of Indianapolis, Indiana; Joe Whitson & his wife: Rose of Jeffersonville, Indiana; Charles Dunn of Scottsburg, Indiana; William Dunn & his wife: Deanna of Versailles, Indiana; 2 step daughters: Joyce Moss of Indianapolis, Indiana & Connie Lamb of Hanover, Indiana; her sister: Peggy Newby of Union, Kentucky; her brother: Eugene Hiles of Carrollton, Kentucky; 17-grandchildren, 16-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, & other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Earl Scott & Annabelle Dixon Hiles; her husbands: Robert F. Whitson, Sr., William Ernest Dunn & Reginald Hunt; her daughter: Earnestine Dunn; her sons: Robert F. Whitson, Jr. died: May 3, 2004; Mitchell H. "Mitch" Whitson died: July 9, 2004; her granddaughter: Margo Elaine Melton died: April 17, 2004; her great granddaughter: Shey Elaine Melton died: April 18, 2004; her sister: Alice Tackett; her brother: Junior Hiles; her step son: Philip Whitson..

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 11:00 am, by Pastor Joel Almaroad, at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive, Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Grandview Memorial Gardens, Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 pm & Thursday from 10 am until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana.

MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS
Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Cards are available at the funeral home.
