Carolyn,
"Mil" was a joy to care for the little time I spent with her and she brought us many laughs. I know it has been a long, tough road for you, but she is finally at peace. My thoughts are with you during this sad time. You should be proud for all you have done her over the years. Cherish all the memories you have and they will bring you comfort.
