My heart goes out to Midge's family and friends. May memories of family gatherings and other treasured times bring hope and healing in the days to come.

Midge was a special friend of my late sister, Peggy Engle Trumbo. I know that Peggy would be saddened by Midge's death, just as all of you cherished Chester High grads, or more fondly Flowers of the South, were with Peggy's sudden-to-us death this past May.

Gratitude that the two of them are together again...in eternal life. With family, with friends...and with favorite pets.

With Midge's visitation later this afternoon, I write these words...and weep as I smile.

My gratitude extends to our almost-ten years in Chester...the wonderful love experienced, the friendships then and continuing, and our shared faith. Cornwell and Purity churches guided our younger years...and goes on today.
With love, Betty Engle Stoddard, Raleigh, NC
