Mildred Skufca

Mildred E. Skufca Mildred E. Skufca, 97, a longtime Wickliffe resident, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at her niece Carol's residence. Her niece Carol was her full time caretaker in her Mentor home for the last four years. She was born August 29, 1915, in Cleveland. Miss Skufca was an inspector at General Electric for many years. Survivors are her nieces, Carol (George) Sufilka and Geraldine (Frank) Hoffert; and her nephew, Donald Stone. She is also survived by other loving great-nieces, great-nephews and her nephew-in-law, Larry Theiss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Anna Skufca; sisters, Julia Kazlauckas and Ann Siat; brother, Jack Skufca; and niece, Ellen Theiss. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. (Please meet at the church.) Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
