Milton Eugene Beeman, 77 passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013 at his residence in Franklin. He was born on April 1, 1936 in Moline, Illinois. His parents were Leon and Esther (Beuoy) Beeman. He married Edith (Bratton ) on August 22, 1959 in Ashland, Wisconsin. She lovingly survives in Franklin. Other survivors include children, Mark Beeman of Indianapolis; Cynthia (Larry) Baysinger of Bargersville and Susan (Dave) Young of Carmel; grandchildren, Megan, Melissa, Adam, Eric, Nolan, Patrick, Caitlin and Holly. He is also survived by one brother, David Beeman of Jacksonville, Florida and his beloved cat, Pumpkin. Milt was a 1954 graduate of Rock Island High School in Rock Island, Illinois. He was a 1958 graduate of Northland College where he received his Bachelor's degree andChristian Theological Seminary where he received his Masters in Divinity. He was a United Methodist minister, retiring after many years of serving churches in Iowa, Indiana and New Jersey. Milt enjoyed building doll houses and truck collecting. He was an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, Indy 500 and Nascar. Rev. Mike Biggs will conduct a service on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Franklin United Methodist Community, Wright Chapel, 1070 West Jefferson Street, Franklin, Indiana 46131. Friends may call on Tuesday, May 28th from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Burial will be at Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to Chapel Hill United Methodist Church,Camp Scholarship Fund, 963 N. Girls School Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46214 and/or to the Grace United Methodist Church, Camp Scholarship Fund, 1300 East Adams Drive, Franklin, Indiana 46131.
