Columbus , GA- Milton Dozier, Sr. 58, of 2719 Garden Drive, Columbus passed Thursday October 3, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM Friday, October 11, 2013 at Liberty Baptist Church, 934 Valley Forge Road, Columbus with the Pastor Rev. David Lix officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 2919 Hamilton Road. Visitation will be today, Thursday October 10, 2013 from 1:00PM-7:00PM at the funeral. Mr. Dozier was born August 17, 1955 in Harris County, Georgia son of the late Rance and Mary Dozier. He was preceded in death by Raymond Dozier and Gwendolyn Elaine Averett. Milton is survived by his significant other, Princess White; his wife, Barbara Dozier; children, Felicia Dozier(Marcus), Milton Dozier, Jr.(Malliss'a), Crystal Dozier(Thomas), Francine Debenediho; grandchildren, Ashley Dozier(Jeffery), Jazzman Dozier, Qwentavious, Courtney, Sharmekia, Montavia, Lilton and Zamorie Dozier; great grandchild, Ja'Merious White; siblings, Jeraldin Willis, Willie Dozier and Marshall Dozier; aunt, Mary Dozier; close friend, Bobby Walker and Patty Gross and a host of other relatives and friends.
