Minnie B. Dudley Williams, 82, of Newark made her transition on July 1, 2010. Born in Wilson, N.C., Minnie retired in 1995 from the Newark Public Welfare as a senior clerk typist. She is survived by her sons, William Bernard and George Dudley; daughter, Ida B. Williams; granddaughter, LaQuanda M. Williams; daughter-in-law, LeVerne C. Dudley; nieces, Savannah (Kitty) Cooper and Yvonne Hall, and a host of godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Della Dudley, and brothers, Carl, James and Robert Lee Dudley. A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Abyssinian Baptist Church, 224 W. Kinney St., Newark, N.J. Interment is at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, N.J. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Cotton Funeral Service.
