Mitchell Beauregard Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 9, 2023.
Mitchell James "Mitch" Beauregard, 64, of Rocky Hill, CT, passed away on December 1, 2023. He was born on October 13, 1959, in Keene, New Hampshire, USA. Mitch was a caring father, a generous friend, and known for his wit and love for jokes.

Mitch is survived by his son Remi (Lannie) Beauregard of Willimantic, CT; his significant other, Michelle Narus of Bethany, CT, and family - her daughter Jennifer Faucher, grandsons Edwin Cruz and Matthew Cruz, and granddaughters Jillian Washington and Desiree Perez; his sister Susan Beauregard of Raleigh, NC; his sister Karen Higley of Brandenburg, KY; his brother Tony Beauregard of Springfield, VT; his former spouse, Susan Amy (Shear) Hunter; and five nieces and a nephew. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Edward Beauregard, and his mother, Irene Theresa (Despres) Beauregard.

Mitch attended Keene State College and Eastern CT State University, where he received his BGS in Business Administration and Management. He had an intense thirst for knowledge and was also working towards his Masters in Business Administration.

Mitch's passion for helping others led him to a career in which he could make a positive impact on people's lives. He recently celebrated his 10-year anniversary as Senior Vice President of Business Operations at United Way of CT, where he dedicated himself to serving his community. Prior to that, he held the position of Vice President, Finance & Administration at The ACCESS Agency.

In his free time, Mitch enjoyed fishing, bike riding, and participating in races organized by the Run 169 Towns Society. These hobbies allowed him to appreciate the beauty of nature and challenge himself physically. In Hampton, CT, Mitch, and his former spouse jointly operated Three Niece Farm, specializing in alpacas and llamas, where they took great pride in showcasing their animals at local fairs. Even at a young age, their son Remi loved showing their prized animals and bringing home the coveted blue ribbons.

A memorial service to celebrate Mitch's life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 12-2 PM at Brooklawn Funeral Home, located at 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill, Connecticut 06067.

Immediately following will be a post-memorial reception at Casa Mia on the Green, 600 Cold Spring Road, Rocky Hill, CT. We welcome all who would like to come and share their memories of Mitch.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Reliance Health Inc., United Way of Connecticut, and Connecticut Foodshare.

Brooklawn Funeral Home in Rocky Hill, CT, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.

Mitch will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His caring nature, wit, and dedication to helping others will be remembered and cherished. May he rest in peace.
