On May 11, 2014, we received an email from Mitch Chancey asking for a song request "Wedding Bell Blues". I played his song and for the next two years, I looked forward to receiving an email on Saturday morning either asking for a song, letting us know how hot it was in Houma or telling us about Mitch Jr or Logan's birthday. Then suddenly, the emails stopped coming from our loyal listener Mitch Chancey of Houma, La. Today, after searching on the internet for many months, we believe that our loyal listener Mitch has passed away. We are so sad to hear this news as we really wanted to get to Houma and meet Mitch and do my radio show from Houma.
Our sincere condolences. We will play one of Mitch's favourites "Wedding Bell Blues" in his honour.
I am not sure how Mitch found us on the radio but we are blessed to have known him.
Our sincere condolences

I worked with Mitch for 3 years at Concentric Pipe in Houma, La. Mitch was a good man and easy to get along with. A good co-worker also. Going to miss him.

Sharing in your sorrow during this time of deep loss. Please know that your family is in the thoughts and prayers of many others who share a similar grief. And may the hope found in the words of the scripture at John 6:40 bring you a measure of comfort in the days ahead.
