KATASHIMA, Mitsuye -- Mitsuye Katashima passed away in San Jose, California on August 7, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sawato Katashima and her son, George Katashima. Mrs. Katashima is survived by her children, Tak Katashima of Gilroy, Tom Katashima of Gilroy, Richard Katashima of San Jose, Jack Katashima of Gilroy, Tara Fujimura of San Jose, Chiyeko Soda of Gilroy, June Muraoka of Gilroy, Nancy Brown of San Jose, Laura Nakano of San Jose, and Judy Mayeda of San Jose; her brothers; Roy Mitamura of Los Angeles, Masaki Mitamura of Japan, and her sisters; Akemi Mitamura of Japan and Harumi Yamada of Japan. She is also survived by 18 Grand Children and 4 Great Grandchildren. A native of Seattle, Washington, age 87 years. Buddhist Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 8/12/03, 7:30 pm at HABING FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 129 4th St., Gilroy, CA.
