Mok Kee (Keith) Low September 28, 1938 - January 9, 2016. Mok Kee (Keith) Low September 28, 1938 - January 9, 2016. Mok Kee (Keith) Low was born on September 28, 1938 in the town of Zheng Cheng Xin, Guangdong, China. He was the eldest child of five of Kin Sow Low and Chung Foon Low. At the age of 17, Mok Kee moved to Hong Kong where he worked as a gatekeeper for the Hong Kong bus company and also as a clerk in a Chinese pharmacy.

In 1965, Mok Kee immigrated to Vancouver, Canada. He met Po Kou in 1968 and they married a year later. They raised three children, Franklin, Karen and Justin. Their first child, Herman, passed away while still a baby. During the years in Vancouver, Mok Kee worked in a vegetable processing factory, and in a cooperage. At the request of a friend, he went to Vernon in 1973 and ran a vegetable farming business for five years. In 1979, Mok Kee bought Crescent Park Market in south Surrey, which he built into a thriving business. Mr. and Mrs. Low ran the store until they retired in March 1997. Among various interests, Mr. Low loved travelling, fine foods, and caring for plants.

Mok Kee was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer at the end of November 2015. While his illness progressed quickly, his suffering was mercifully short. On January 9th, Mok Kee passed away peacefully with his family at his side.
