Mollie Edwards Obituary
Mrs. Mollie DeLane Baxley Edwards, age 77, entered eternal rest on Monday, July 10, 2017 at her residence in Dry Prong, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.
Ms. Edwards was a loving mother and grandmother. Ms. Mollie is survived by her loving companion Herbert Glenn of Dry Prong; one son, Marty Brunson (Dayana) of Orlando, Florida; two daughters, Mona Brunson Ellington of Richmond, Virginia, and DaNita Edwards of Houston, Texas; eight grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Herbert Glenn and his family, and to the staff of Compassionate Care Hospice for their love and care.

Today is a sad day but ive never been one to cry a lot over a passing and i spent a lot of time wondering why that is. Its not that i dont feel the pain but I believe that days like this when we are missing someone who is no longer with us. Someone that we think of daily. Someone who we loved so dearly, that its important to celebrate the life that they had and all the good memories that came with that life. I love you Mawmaw.❤❤❤❤.

Mona, Marty and Danita...I just heard about Delane a little while ago. I am so very sorry for your loss. Delane was one of a kind that's for sure!! Losing a parent is never easy no matter how old we are. The years since we have all been around each other are many! But I have great memories of us as kids playing at Aunt Pauline's. I am still right there across the road from where all those memories took place. I have seen Mona but would love to hear from Danita and Marty sometime. I love you all and am praying for all of you. Your cousin on the Maxwell side.

Danita, Marty, Mona and all the grandchildren of Delane.. God comfort you All IN JESUS MANE.. Delane was one ofa kind. Was nice to see that picture of her and my mom.. When i was a little girl and we came from Texas to Louisiana we always stopped at Delanes. Then as time went by we stopped. I grew up and reports slowed down and life jet changes, although Delane came stayed with us a few times and always called.. She called before circle dialing and cell phones.. O would say well guess we need to get off the phone! She would say why? I would always say your bill is going to be high and she would always say..claudette! Don't you worry about it.. This is my dime we are on not yours. So we would continue to talk.. I went and visited her from x to x.. Really sorry to hear about Delane.. Love you all!!! IN JESUS NAME

Mrs. Mollie, I have only known you the last few years and I really got to know you personally these last few months. I can say that I am a better person after spending time with you and Mr. Herbert. You are now with God in paradise. I have no doubt in my mind that you will meet my Mama and you two will be happy forever. I will never forget you.
