Molly Mendez Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 27, 2012.
Molly Gabrielle Mendez, came into this world October 19, 1998. She brought with her a glimpse of heaven when God let His light shine through her eyes. Her laugh and sheer excitement for every single one of God's creations made her an inspiration to everyone who met her. Even though she faced unimaginable pain and medical treatments, Molly would never let anyone see her suffer. She faced each day with enthusiasm and grace and like most little girls, derived enjoyment from shopping, drawing and music. She loved to write in her journals and spend most of her time giggling with her sister and best friend Sami. Her strength and joy for life should and will serve as an inspiration for us all. Molly went home to be with our Lord and Savior September 19, 2012.
Those who were there to greet her in heaven were her grandfather Richard Anthony Mendez, great-uncle Michael Mendez, great-grandfather Ignacio Mendez, great great-grandmother her "Chiquita Abuelita" aunt Belen Lopez, great-grandmother Dionicia Paredes, cousin Al Paredes and Ava Palomino.
Those who will wait impatiently to see her again: her mommy Gina Mendez; her protector, Raymond Lucero; sister Samantha and little brother Raymond "Sqwish"Lucero IV. Also waiting will be: grandparents, Ray and Maria Moreno; uncles: Richard "Ricky" Mendez II, Isaiah, Rene and Raymond "Chico Man" Moreno; aunts: Annamarie and Raelene Moreno and Deana Padilla; cousins: Elena Tamayo, Noah, Jaylene and Rene II Moreno. Molly had numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and extended friends of the family she loved and adored, unfortunately too many to list at this time. Please know that you are all listed in our hearts today and always.
We will celebrate Molly's life at 2:00 p.m. Saturday September 29th in the chapel at Charles Carroll Funeral Home, 15 Teloma Drive Ventura, CA 93003. Phone (805) 642-8134.
A memorial fund has been established at Santa Barbara Bank and Trust, P.O. Box 1106, Camarillo, CA 93011. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Molly was a truly blessing to me. So young and yet so mature. Full of life, despite her health condition. She smiled no matter what. She always had a great attitude. We should be so full of life when we face such a small thing in this life. She showed us how to live and how to be thankful. Small person with a huge heart and such a caring heart at that. I know that she is in heaven running the streets of gold and praising and worshipping the Lord our God. She has been set free from this body and given one that will never lack a single thing. Thank you Molly for showing me how to be very appreciative of everything in this life good or bad. We will miss you Princess, Love you Tuti and Terry
