Love to all of you! Your mother was a bright light in this sometimes dreary world! 3 things about Mona I'll never forget-- her bright smile, infectious laugh, and the twinkle in her eyes... We miss her, too.

Dear Mike and Girls
Although the years have passed we remember many hot afternoons visiting together in the back yard on Pope Cres. Mona was always a lovely, beautiful (inside & outside) lady. To loose someone you have spent your life loving must be heartbreaking, and we send you our condolances. I hope that our paths cross again one day, but for now please know that our thoughts and prayers are there for each and every one of you as go through this very sad time in your lives.

Dear Jamie, Lindsey, Erin & families
I was deeply saddened to learn of your Mum's death. During "good" times we had "great" times together and I will always treasure the love, friendship, conversation and laughter we shared. She was such a "free spirit"!!
Over the years she shared her life story with me, good and bad from childhood through to parenthood. She loved you three from the bottom of her heart. I know you've lost more than a Mum - she was your best friend. You had a relationship many envied. She'll always be watching over you. Someday you'll think you feel someone looking over your shoulder and you'll turn and no one's there. That'll be your Mum, watching out for you, watching you make her so very proud. During your whole life kiddos, she will always be with you. Bob thought a lot of your Mum and I'm sure he was there to meet her.
Love always,

I cannot believe that I am writing this and especially for the reason. It brings back so many memories and I choose only the funny ones that I remember from so long ago from our Melville, Yorkton and Calgary days. My heart goes out to all of you at this time and I have accepted the things that I cannot change. Much love to all.

Dear Jaime, Lindsey and Erin,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. Auntie Mona was as blessed to have each one of you for a daughter as you were to have her for your very own Mom. I pray you will find some small measure of comfort in the days ahead as you remember countless special times with her, many, many shared smiles and giggles and all the precious moments you had as mother and daughters.

Dear Lindsey, Erin, Jamie, and families,
I'm deeply saddened to learn of your mother's passing. I've know all of you for 20 years now, and your Mom was like a sister/aunt/friend to me. We shared a great deal of intimacy during many salon visits over the years. I love your mother deeply and know how much she loves each and every one of you. She expressed that often! She was always so proud of her lovely daughters, loved their partners, and her grandchildren brought her immense joy. I don't believe I've ever met a mother who shared so much pleasure, fun, and friendship with her daughters. Your relationship is to be envied. May the gift of her sweet memory soften your loss, draw you closer to one another, and drive you to live life as she did-- to its fullest. Big Doug hugs,
Margot Holt

As the veil between the worlds opens to allow our loved ones to pass, hold love and compassion in your hearts to guide their journey. May you find strength in your family and friends, comfort in the memories you've created together and compassion for yourselves as you journey through your grief. Sending many blessings, Karen and Neil Smith

Words cannot express how heartbroken our family is, but there is a few lines from a Robert Frost poem that makes me think of Mona and her love for life.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
We will miss you Meesus.
