Monique,
It was quite a priviledge for me to meet someone as special as you. You thaught me the real meaning of positiveness and gratefulness. You are leaving a large space that might feel empty, but in reality this space is filled with what you braught into the world to make it a better place. You will live forever within my spirit. My heart is with your family during this difficult time.

My sincere condolences on the loss of such a great person. Monique was someone that I respected as a a devoted friend. All the times that I visited I was always made welcome and the memories of the great times that we had growing up in the hockey system are ones that will always stay with me.
Be proud of the many lives that Monique touched in such a positive way.

Dear Moniques family and those who knew her,
First of all I am so sorry that you have lost someone so special and so real. This world needs more like her.
I love that photo of her. That is who she was, beautiful, funny, always smiling, but never fake. I was very young when her and my mom started working together (maybe 6-8) and she was always so nice to me. I used to go to my moms office just to see Monique and get a hug. Some days I would call a million times and Monique never "lost it" even though I knew I was calling to much. I rememebr meeting her son at his work and he is such a nice guy. He shares many of her wonderful qualities.
My mom will miss her terribly and so will I.
I am sooo happy that everyone had the chance to say goodbye and spend some great times with her before she passed, and for those who didn't she understands. Because that is the kind of person she was:
A true spirit!
bye Monique

Dear Hubert, Daniel and Christian and your extended families:
Those of us who had the privilege to work with Monique can only imagine the loss you are feeling. It is so important for you to know how many people she mattered to in this world and that you are not the only people who will miss her and think of her often. We never spend enough time with the people we love in this hectic society we live in. Much of our experience of those near and dear to us is lived out in our minds. Monique cannot be taken away from that place in our hearts. I extend my deepest sympathy to all of you. I will remember Monique's smile, her kindness to our patients and her ability to make a very difficult job seem effortless. She had that French charm and she knew how to use it. Thinking of you...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. As a little girl my Grandma Rose Poirier would give me 6 pennies to go to Monique's Mother Leoria's store to buy a melliroll ice-crean cone on a hot summer afternoon in Plantagenet. I am the daughter of Marie Rose. Take care & God Bless!

Dear Hubert and family,
I didn't work with Monique for very long, but she always had a smiling pleasant face and was a pleasure to work with.
I can only imagine the loss that you are feeling right now, however, the Word of God reminds us that "to be absent from the body is to present with the Lord".
Dwell on these words. Monique's trials are over - for her, there will be no more pain or tears! Praise God for the gift of His Son!
I will continue to pray for you and your family. May God uphold you in this time of sorrow.
God Bless, Barb Jen

Dear Hubert and Family
I have known Monique for only a short while and she was always a cheerful person to brighten my day. Even though she was not in the new clinic for very long, she is there with us in our hearts. I pray that she now is happy and comfortable and takes a place in heaven as our guardian angel. Bless all of you in your time of sorrow.

Dan,
We were so saddened to learn of your mom’s passing. It seems like yesterday she was handing out pop and snacks to us as we made our way into the basement. Your mom was a fantastic lady and we will remember her as she always was – full of laughter and joy. Our deepest condolences to you, Chris and your Dad.

It with a heavy heart I write these words.
I worked with Monique for many years at the then General Hospital and her smile and laughter always helped make my day a bit brighter. She made me feel like part of her family. Her sense of humour and love of life were evident when she spoke of her boys and her husband.
My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. Monique will always be remembered and thought of with great respect and admiration.
Merci Monique!!!!
