On Thursday, February 1, 2018. Husband of Barbara; father of Monty, Jr., Karen, Jill (Eddie), Robert (Joy), and Paul; step-father of Annie, Jimmy (Tammy), and Ray; 30 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; preceded in death by his daughter, Ladona; his son, Joe; and grandson, Billy. Friends received Tuesday 1-8 p.m. at VALERIAN F. SZAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 238 Helen St., McKees Rocks, where services will be held at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to help with costs of the funeral.
