Morgan Robertson Obituary
The family will be receiving guests 6pm to 8pm Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Moore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10am Friday, July 22, 2016 at Moore Funeral Home with the Pastor Paul Mints of The Community at Lake Ridge, officiating. Arrangements are by Moore Funeral Home.
Morgan Beth Wilkerson Robertson was born at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, TX to Becky Werneth and Thomas Wiley Wilkerson on September 7, 1985. She attended Kennedale High School. Morgan met and married her true love Melvin Ray Robertson on June 13, 2015 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Morgan was pursuing a Nursing Degree from Tarrant County College. She had a life-long dream of becoming a Registered Nurse specializing in Geriatric care.
Morgan's beautiful smile and infectious laugh could fill a room. Her caring and compassionate nature brought peace and comfort to everyone she met. Morgan was a very loving and charming free spirit, a candle in the wind with a kind and gentle soul.
Morgan was employed by PDS Companies in Arlington, TX. She touched many lives while employed at Regions Bank, Cheddars and B&B Foreign Car/Apple Import Auto.
Morgan was preceded in death by: Grandparents "Pop" Hilton Eugene Werneth, Sr., "Gran" Mavis L. Werneth, Harrel F. Wilkerson and Marceline Wilkerson. Father in law Johnny Marvin Robertson, Grandmother Norma Moon.
Morgan is survived by her husband Melvin Ray Robertson; Parents: Becky Werneth (Christie Cox), Thomas Wiley Wilkerson (Denise Hanna), Lisa Robertson (Mother in Law); Sister: Patricia Elaine (Aaron) Donaldson; Sister in Law: Shawnda Russo; Brother: "TW" Thomas Wiley Wilkerson II; Brothers in Law: Marvin Robertson, Bobby Robertson, Shane Robertson; Nieces: Dakota Donaldson, Hannah Russo; Nephews: Denver Donaldson, Denton Donaldson, Dallas Donaldson, Justice Robertson, Lincoln Kyle; Aunts and Uncles: "Sonny" Hilton Eugene (Dinah) Werneth Jr., Beth (Milton) Hendry, Pamela (Johnny) Myrick, Robert Werneth, Susan (Harry) Long, Phyllis (Terry) Bradford, Patty Moon, Guy Ray Moon, and many cousins and close friends.
Pallbearers will be Melvin Robertson, TW Wilkerson, Aaron Donaldson, Robert Werneth, Byron Saucer, Matt Briggs, Perry McCreight, Zach Dabney, Mike Stevenson, Jeremy Posey. Honorary pallbearers are "Sonny" Hilton E. Werneth and Hilton Grant Saucer.
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Morgan's love for her beloved Dixie Belle and all dogs, her family has asked that donations be made to Dallas Australian Shepherd & Herding Dog Rescue DASH Dog Rescue via www.youcaring.com/InMorgansMemory. The family of Morgan wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Jana and Russell Donaldson, Tate Springs Baptist Church, Cheyenne and Mike Stevenson, The Community at Lake Ridge, Jeremy and Anna Posey, and Zach Dabney.
