Shannon,
I am so sorry for your precious loss. I too, have felt the unbearable pain of losing a child. It is one of the most devastating experience's a parent can face. Suddenly, everything has changed! But, remembering all the wonderful times you shared with Morgan can help. And most of all, may the God of Love, who never causes what is bad to happen, sustain you with comfort and Hope.
When He will soon end all injustice and sickness.
"He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. And the One seated on the throne said; "Look! I am making all things new...these words are faithful and true."

I do not have the words to express my deep sadness when I heard about Morgan. She was such a precious shy little girl when Libby & I had her in our class at Highlands Fellowship. As long as she was with her 'big' brother Ethan, she was fine. I remember when she finally 'warmed up' to me & let me show her how to do things in class, my heart melted! She & Ethan both are a blessing that I will always hold dear to my heart. I will never forget how much Ethan liked Spiderman. Give him a hug for me. You are in my prayers & I KNOW that GOD will travel this path with you & hold you all in His hands!
Praying for you!

Eric and Shannon,
I absolutely cannot imagine what you are going through. I do not have words to express, but I am listing the lyrics to an old New Song song that has always stayed with me. I can hear it when I'm going through something.
Trust His Heart lyrics
All things work for our good
Though sometimes we can't
See how they could
Struggles that break our hearts in two
Sometimes blind us to the truth
Our Father knows what's best for us
His ways are not our own
So when your pathway grows dim
And you just can't see Him,
Remember you're never alone
God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His Heart
He sees the master plan
He holds the future in His hand,
So don't live as those who have no hope,
All our hope is found in Him.
We see the present clearly
But He sees the first and last
And like a tapestry He's weaving you and me,
To someday be just like Him
He alone is faithful and true
He alone knows what is best for you
when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you don't understand
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His Heart
Just having the opportunity to meet and speak with your family has been a blessing to me. I pray for your comfort and peace in the days ahead and for lots of wonderful memories to fill your hearts.
Love,
Ginger Richmond and family

I am at a complete loss for words. I have never met your sweet daughter, or you, her family, but my heart goes out to you. When I heard about your precious daughter, my heart literally ached for you. Because one year ago, my precious, beautiful, 2 year old daughter went to heaven, after the same battle. All I can say to you, is please hold onto The Lord and He will somehow, someway, carry you through each moment. If it were not for Him, I would not be here. He is our strength when we are weak, our hope when our world is hopeless, and our peace that passes all understanding. May God reach down His loving hands and give you comfort, peace, and strength for each moment. If you ever need to talk to me, please feel free to write me. Nobody knows the pain unless they have lived it. God Bless your family....

Even though I attend Highlands Bristol Campus, I'm sorry to say I have never had the pleasure of meeting your family. My sister, Tracy Feathers, has kept me informed of what was going on and you have all been and will continue to be in my prayers. Just keep holding on to the arms of Jesus and he will carry you through the days ahead.

We prayed in class yesterday morning for your family and for Morgan in Heaven. The kids were all being so brave even though you could see how much they missed her and how many questions they had. My daughters and I will miss having her in class at Highlands. If there is anything we can do, please let us know. Morgan was such a blessing to us all!

Our hearts are broken over the loss of Morgan. She was a joy for us in the classroom at church. She was so sweet and so shy. I was so proud of her when she chose to answer a question in front of the class. I am going to miss her sweet smile, but I also look forward to seeing it again soon. We love you all and want you to know you are in our prayers. Thank you for letting us be a part of Morgan's life.

God said , "There is something that I must let you see.
Can You See that light shining down upon your mother?
She now has a part of you for all eternity.
She will soon be in heaven here with you,
Come now lets go prepare her home.
For when the time comes for her to see you again,
She will realize that she was never left alone.
So very sorry for the loss of you little one. May God comfort you in this time of sorrow.
