Beloved husband of the late Margaret Moddy Marcus; dear father and father-in-law of Joseph (Margie Olsen) Marcus and Terese (Mark) Edelstein of Grosse Pointe Park, MI.; dear grandfather of Anna Marcus and Amelia Marcus, Matthew Edelstein and Katie Edelstein; dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Esther (the late Herman) Glick, the late Ida (the late Nathan) Glick, the late Etta (the late Sol) Weber, the late Leo Marcus and the late John Marcus; our dear uncle, cousin and friend. Services: Graveside service Wednesday, August 26th 10:00 am at Mt.Sinai Cemetery, 8430 Gravois. Dr. Marcus was an Emeritus Professor of Medicine at Washington University and a former head of the Department of Dermatology at Jewish Hospital. Dr. Marcus was an Army Veteran of World War II who was wounded at Utah Beach following the Normandy invasion. Dr. Marcus was a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Missouri State Medical Association, the Southern Medical Association and a member of the Eliot Society of Washington University.
