Mr.Eric Byrd Obituary
Mr. Eric Clifton Byrd was born in East Saint Louis, Illinois on November 15th, 1964 to the loving family of the late Mr. Thomas C. Byrd and the late Mrs. Mae E. Barfield-Byrd.
Eric was reared in a home that was Christ-centered and full of love; where he learned to esteem the word of God as supreme. Throughout his childhood and teenaged years, Eric was a member of the New Hope Church of God in Christ where the late Elder Thomas McMath was the Pastor.
Eric received elementary and secondary education in the Cahokia, IL public School system and he was a graduate of the East Saint Louis, IL Senior High School. Shortly after graduating, Eric moved and started his life in Minnesota with his life-partner, Mr. Richard Klingelhoets.
Eric was preceded in death by his beloved mother and father, Mrs. Mae E. Byrd and Mr. Thomas C. Byrd, his beloved son Mr. Eric Byrd Jr, and his beloved sister Judy Frierson.
Eric leaves to cherish his memories, his life-partner Mr. Richard Klingelhoets of Minnesota, his sister Mrs. Ivy Byrd-Harris (the late Jimmie) of Illinois, his brother Mr. Carlos Byrd (Jackie) of Florida, his brother Mr. Kevin Byrd (Geneva) of Illinois, and his aunt Mrs. Iva Jean Barfield-Lambert (Marvin) of Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loved ones, and friends.
