Mrs. Eleanor Arlene Harris, our beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt and grandmother, passed away at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit MI on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the age of 68 years old. She was born July 14, 1954 in Flint MI to Dave and Reloa Wells.
She graduated from Flint Northwestern High School, class of 1972. She retired from Central State Richfield House in 2019. She loved cooking and decorating for special holidays, especially Christmas. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with family. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of God in Christ in Saginaw MI, where her brother Elder James Wells pastored.
Mrs. Eleanor Arlene Harris leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Reola (stepfather Henry) Brooks of Flint MI; 3 children, all sons; Arty Well of New Mexico, Arche (Tamika) Howell and Winndell Howell both of Flint MI; 1 step daughter, Victoria Malone of California; 9 grandchildren; Jabria Howell, Enaiyah Howell, Winndell Howell, Jr, Jacquandra McGee, Deandrea Bedentfield, Deshondria Bedentfield, all of Flint MI; Gabbryele Wells of New Mexico, Mekai and Makayla Howell, Canei Pugh from Atlanta GA; 5 brothers, Dave (Joyce) Wells, Jr, of Florida, Berry (Malinda) Wells of Grand Blanc, MI, James (Rita) Wells of Flint MI, Dale (Nicole) Wells of Flint MI, and Elliott Wells of Flint MI; 3 aunts, Ida Buchanan, Willa Maymie and Geraldine Wells; 1 uncle, John (Elaine) Sullivan; 7 nieces, 5 nephews, daughter-in-law, Kimberly Pugh and a host of other relatives and friends, including special friend, Connie Trouser. A very special nephew whom she considered to be more like a son, Demitrius Ross.
Mrs. Eleanor Arlene Harris was preceded in death by her husband, Elston DeWayne Harris; father, Dave Wells; brother, Christopher Wells.
