Raised in a Christian home with Godly principals, Brianna gave her life to Christ and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Pembroke Park New Testament Church of God. At Pembroke Park, Brianna was a part of the youth choir, Family Training Hour (FTH), and played the drums.
When God created Brianna, he created a person who exhibited God’s testimony of love for family and selflessness. Brianna’s love and selflessness was repeatedly displayed through her tireless work as an entrepreneur and a volunteer in the LGBTQIA+ communities. Brianna served as the Vice President of Transinclusive Group, an organization that advocates to protect and defend equality for all trans-gender and LGBTQ+ individuals in South Florida.
Who knew that early morning of February would be Brianna’s gateway to Heaven. On March 24th, 2023, after battling to live for seven long weeks, God called her home. How will the pain heal? Only God can answer that question.
Left to cherish and celebrate Brianna’s life and memories are her mother, Velma Young-Joseph (Kenneth Joseph); her four Brothers: Ian Nesbeth, Jimico, Keino, and Temond Young; Sister: Sabrinah A. Stanis; Stepbrother: Kenneth Joseph Jr.; Stepsister: Marthy Richardson; Aunts: Claudette Butler-Ferguson (Starrington Ferguson), Edna Joy Brown, Salva “Precious” Gordon, Rebecca “Elaine” Strachan, Salome Simpson (Patton), Ivy Tulloch and Mazie Miller; Uncles: Cecil and Desmond Brown, Washington Gordon (Natasha), Samuel Strachan, and Jean Alexis; Nieces: Ayanna, Amira, Gabriella, and Simone Nesbeth and Symiaha Clinton; Nephews: Kameron Hayes, Keino Orlando Young II and Ian Donovan Nesbeth II; Sisters-in- Law: Danielle Nesbeth and Alyssa Humphrey-Young; Cousins: Monique Forbes, Shekera Simmons (Trevor), Treven, Ricardo Brown, Caleb and Ricardo Jr., Marco Brown (Carole), Tyden, Scottie Brown (Kimberley), Scottie Jr., Dennis Brown (Kendra), Jermoni and Jerniyah, Desmond Brown (Sherell), Seth, Gracie, Samaya and Simon, Colin Alexis, Amya and Colin Jr., Carla Minnis, Sasha and Renardo Jr. McKenzie, Travia Smith, Vashti and Jimika Major, Kattilleah Gordon, Dwayne Newman Jr., Donte’ Forde, Ivanique Butler, Eulecia and Ulysses Jr. Rolle, Caitlyn and Dino Jr. Adamson, Clintiece Taylor, Angelique Strachan, Garnett Rowe (June), Troy, Donta, and Tiano Rowe, Anthony “Tony” Green (Brianna), Anthony Jr., Cassidi and Bella, Richard, Angela, and Angel Tulloch, Omar (Tamara), Zenna and Amir Hepburn, Temisha Louis, Renald and Domani Wilder, Erin Deravil, Janet and Florence Lewis, Robert and Marcia Harris, Manocheca Andre, Necia McCoy, Nancy Thomas, Violet Taylor, the Damore and Braxton family: Ashley America Hollerman (daughter), Chris Jerrell Robinson (son), Titiana Braxton (Grandmom), Kijofa Kirkland (brother), Baxter Braxton (brother), Luders “JR” Pierre, and Levi McPhee; and a host of other relatives and friends including her Grand Uncles and Grand Aunts.
