DOUGLAS, MurielThe family of Muriel Douglas sadly announces her passing on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Muriel was 87 years old. She is predeceased by her husband George, her brothers Ralph and Dallas; and her daughter-in-law Gail. She will be greatly missed by her loving family including her children Bob and Jo-Anne; grandchildren Jesse, Josh, Wayne (Rose) and Nicole; great-grandchildren Brylee and Dante, sisters-in-law Ann and Mabel, nephews and nieces as well as other family members and dear friends. Muriel will be fondly remembered for her gentle nature and kind heart. A service to celebrate Muriel's life will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 1:30 pm at All Saints Anglican Church, 7405 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby. A reception will follow. If friends and family wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Michael's Centre Hospice, 7451 Sussex Avenue, Burnaby, BC, V5J 5C2.

Bob and Jo-Anne, I will always remember the times when we came for a visit. Aunty Muriel and Uncle George were the best! Your Mom will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
