Saratoga Springs, NY - Muriel Powell 95, died December 12, 2022 peacefully at home.
She was born May 30, 1927 in Carmel, N.Y. Daughter of Lester and Leona Brown.
Muriel is predeceased by her parents and two sisters, Germaine Ross & Fay Levitto. She was wife to the late Clarence J. Powell. She is survived by three of her five children: Bonnie Haddix, Candace Norton and Peter Powell; two
sons Dana Allen Powell and Barry Scott Powell are predeceased. She was the grandmother of 7: Kim Ernst, Derek Powell, Hannah Young, Dylan Haddix, Joshua Powell, Morgan Powell, Taylor Franklin; 18 great grandchildren with 2 more expected in February.
A private family graveside ceremony is planned for the spring.
