Murray Johnston Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 22, 2008.
JOHNSTON, Murray Peacefully at home in Woodslee, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Murray just celebrated 40 years of marriage with his soulmate Grace (nee Girardin) on September 13th. Loving father of Andrew Paul Johnston and wife Meri, Rebekah Johnston and David Johnston. Cherished grandpa of Ian and Annika Johnston. Dearest brother of Tom and wife Sylvia and the late Norm. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 87 Maidstone Avenue East, Essex (519-776-4233) on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 from 10 am until time of the Funeral Service to celebrate Murray's life at 12 pm. Pastor Grainger officiating. Interment Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Before his death, Murray saw his wish fulfilled of having a fresh water well drilled in Africa through World Vision and therefore as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations made to World Vision and the drilling of his well would be greatly appreciated by the family. Family and friends are invited to share their words of comfort and remembrance at www.reidfuneralhome.ca

Dear Grace and Family,
I found the service today very touching. I hope and pray that you will find peace in time in all of the wonderful memories of Murray. I will miss seeing his wave and his smile on my walks down the road. Doug always enjoyed his conversations with Murray in the past. God be with you now and always.
