Mya Nguyen Obituary
Charlotte, NC-Mya McKenzie Lynne Nguyen, 10, passed early Sunday morning, June 24, 2018 at Levine's Children Hospital.
Born June 7, 2008 in Charlotte, NC, she is the only daughter of Thanh Nguyen and Mya Luong.
Mya McKenzie, a 4th grade student at St. Gabriel Catholic School, had an extensive American Doll Collection and loved Ballroom dancing.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her maternal grandfather, Thien Luong; paternal grandmother, Mai Nguyen; paternal great-grandmother, Hieu Nguyen; aunts and uncles, Tony Luong(Ngoc Nguyen), Linda Luong, Hoang Luong(Tuyet Le), Mai Ng(Ivan Ng), Khai Nguyen(Tatiana Nguyen) and Huong Vu.
Friends may visit from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Road, Charlotte, NC 28212 where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Visitation Thursday, June 28, 2018 is scheduled for 6 to 9 pm at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 3016 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28211 where a Vigil Service is planned at 7:00 pm with a reception following in the church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Friday, June 29, 2018 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church where friends may also visit from 10 to 11 am.
Burial will take place in Sharon memorial Park.
