Myra Walker Lane

Myra and I were part of a Spanish group that met at the library once a week, although I was the only one who wasn't fluent in Spanish. We had great conversations and lots of laughter. We also went for an overnight to Newport, R.I. which Myra often reminisced about. I miss her.

I am so grateful Myra came into our lives. Her gentleness and kindness were always evident. I was the library director in Pepperell when Myra applied for the circulation job. To say she was wonderful, is an understatement. She was universally loved and respected, and now will be missed so much.

Myra was a dear friend and coworker at the Lawrence Library in Pepperell. As Head of Circulation for many years she became the one person everyone knew. Her kindness, wit, and ability to remember every patron by first name will always be remembered. Myra happily shared her passion for travel, gardening, and love of English and reading.

In remembrance of Myra, the Lawrence Library staff, trustees, patrons and Friends of the Lawrence Library will be planting Star Magnolia bush at the library.

Sending hugs and love to her family. I will miss our monthly lunches and time spent together. The sky gained a new star...it will shine brightly.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My family had the privilege of knowing Myra through the Pepperell Lawrence Library. When we first moved to Pepperell and found the library, she was the first person we met and she was so kind and welcoming - just a delight. She will be missed.
