Myrna Morrison Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 25, 2025.
Myrna C. (Salisbury) Morrison passed away with her loved ones by her side on September 18, 2025. She was born May 20, 1940 to Ruby McCully and Alan Salisbury.

As an only child, Myrna grew up especially close to her many cousins, who became like sisters and brothers to her throughout her life.

On June 21, 1958, Myrna married the love of her life, Donald A. Morrison. Together they raised their family in Aurora, IL where they built a loving and welcoming home to all that knew them.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald, her mother Ruby, and her grandmother Marie Greene.

She is survived by her children Eileen Rogers and Paul Morrison, her grandchildren Sheri (Shane) Steele, Brandy (Jason) Randall, and her great grandchildren Jason, Nathan, Nicholas, Joshua, Hailey, Connor and Bailey.

Myrna will be remembered as a woman who was a devoted Cubs fan and dedicated much of her life as treasurer of the American Legion. She shared her love of the game and the legion with all that were close to her.

An open house style celebration of life will be held in Myrna's honor on October 19, 2025 at her granddaughter's home 2340 Thunder Gulch Rd Montgomery, IL 60538 from 12pm-3pm. As Myrna was so passionate about supporting the disabilities of her grandchildren, we ask that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the Covenant Ability Network of Illinois(CANIL) at the link below.
