DODGE CITY, KAN. - Myron Lee Nicholson, 81, died Friday, April 16, 2010, at home. The fu-neral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 21 at First Missionary Church in Dodge City with the Rev.'s Jeff Turner and Jim Hossler officiating. A private family burial will be held at a later date at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dodge City. Survivors include his wife, Kay Nicholson, son Charles Nicholson and daughter, DeKeta Schuckman, all of Dodge City; sisters Laverne Pitzer of Long Beach, Calif., Caren Stadig of Dodge City; brother James Nicholson of Kinston; stepdaugh-ters Kim McGee and Kamy Cunningham of Oro Valley, Ariz.; stepson Cody Bergkamp of Phoe-nix, Ariz.; and eight grandchildren. Visitation was held Tuesday, April 20 at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City. Memorials can be made to First Missionary Church or Ford County 4-H Foundation in care of the funeral home.
