REJEBIAN, , MYRON VAHRAM Age 76, passed away peacefully March 5, 2007. Myron was born July 3, 1930 in Houston and later moved to Dallas at three years of age. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1947 and went on to attend Texas A&M and graduate from The University of Texas. He was a member, at Texas, of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. After college, Myron joined his father, Vahram, in the Oriental Rug Business, Rejebian & Son, at the Titche-Goettinger Co. He later moved the business to Snider Plaza, where antique furniture and accessories were added. He became one of the country's leading authorities on Oriental Rugs and was the founding President of the Oriental Rug Retailer's of America, in 1972. After retiring in 1994, he embarked on a second career, volunteering with Meals on Wheels, The Stewpot, Old City Park, and as an Ambassador at DFW Airport. He was a member of the Highland Park United Methodist Church. Myron was preceded in death by his parents, Vahram and Ermance. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane; sister, Mary Johnston Northern of Wimberley; son, David and daughter-in-law, Dawn; son, Michael and Vivian Rejebian; grandson, Michael and granddaughter, Joanna ; son Bradford, daughter-in-law, Sherri; and grandsons, Turner and Clayton. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary at Highland Park United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Park Cities YMCA and The Stewpot at the First United Presbyterian Church. Dignity Memorial Sparkman Hillcrest 7405 W. Northwest Hwy. The Ambassador Program lost an integral member of our team with Myron's passing on Monday. Myron was such a bright light every time he walked in our front door. We will miss his warm sense of humor and smiling face. Myron was a special individual and he will be greatly missed. Our condolences go out to Myron's family as we know that Myron was "one in a million."
