Myrtis L. Scott entered into rest on Saturday, December 25, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Bellevue Memorial Garden at 11:00 a.m. Preceding her in death was her husband, Leon Scott, sister, Eva Myles, sister in-law, Angie Byrd. She is survived by her children, Tammye Scott; sons, Gerald Scott, Rev. Glennard (Shondra) Scott; brother, Pastor Millard F. Byrd; sister, Ethel Williams; three grandchildren, Samuel Scott, Evan Scott, Eden Scott and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 1-5 p.m. Please continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

To the family, I just want to say that I wish I could be there with you all to share in this Special Home-going memorial for a precious lady, Sis. Myrtis Scott, who’s memories of, I will cherish. I am so grateful to’ve experienced her kindness
and her gentle and beautiful spirit in the past. That is how I will always think of her.
May the Peace of God be with you all and comfort your hearts like only He can, amen.
