Myrtle Bodansky Obituary

Myrtle V. Bodansky peacefully passed away on January 15, 2012, at her daughter's residence. She was 92. Born in Toronto, Canada, she came to the states and resided in Scranton, PA. Later, she moved to Philadelphia, and finally to Croydon to raise her family. She was a loving mother who was very proud of her grandchildren. She was a proud traditional homemaker who enjoyed caring for her cats. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ernest; her parents George and Emily Cuthbertson; 2 brothers George and Leonard; and a sister Alice. She will be sadly missed by a daughter Sharon Silcox and her husband Mike of Croydon. She is also survived by her other daughter Arlene Lendvay of Croydon. She is the proud grandmother of Michael Silcox (Karen Krzaczyk), Todd Silcox, Matthew Silcox and Linda Bracken and Tracy Pramov; and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Joan Polish and her husband Robert; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call Wed., 7-9pm, and Thurs., 9-10am, at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 3500 Bristol Oxford Valley Road, followed by her religious service, 10am, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
