Myrtle I. "Penny" (Brodeur) Parent, 77, of Auburn, Massachusetts, a homemaker and custom drapery designer, died at UMASS Memorial Medical Center on Friday, March 8, 2002, following an illness. Calling hours are scheduled for Tuesday, March 12, 2002, 5-8 p.m., at Britton-Wallace Funeral Home, P.O. Box 198, Auburn. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, March 13, at the funeral home. Mass will be offered on Wednesday, 10 a.m., at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
