Grandma Myrt your legacy will be one that is truly going to be hard to follow. I hope you find comfort in knowing how well you are truly loved, admired and respected by so many. Even though you weren't my grandma - I've grown up my entire life calling you Grandma Myrt and you truly felt like a grandma to me. The person you are is well reflected in your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and great, great grandchild. I only hope that I will be as blessed to leave this earth with your reputation, admiration and to have a daughter - such as your Susie - who I will alway respect and admire for her devotion and loving care she showered you with. Heaven has truly received another angel and you have left a Saint with all of us.

Grandma Myrt you will always be near and dear in my heart. You are the Grandma that everyone wishes they had. You were and ARE an inspiration to everyone you touched in your 92 years of life. Your generosity and kindness was bestowed upon every person you touched. You made each of your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchild feel they were special in your heart. Even though I know I was your favorite - as everone else I'm sure felt. May you rest in peace - as you truly deserve to.
All my love.

Grandma Myrt, I will miss everything about you, too many wonderful things to mention, from you putting us to bed when we were little all the way to enjoying your great grandchildren. I loved your cooking especially the baked chicken and the soup you brought over in the mayonnaise jars. Backie rubs were the best especially the ones with the tools you would pull out of your pockets. Most of all I will miss your choice of words and your opinions on certain things. You are truly an angel and I know you are very happy now with your family and especially Sweet William. I love you and can't wait to see you again. Love Keri-Lynne

All wonderful memories keep running through my mind: Myrt's wonderful fudge, the nut breads. All made with love. We would hide and hoard those goodies. Myrt loved and cherished all her friends and family. She taught us about love and sharing, and I will always be grateful for her support. I will miss her and her beautiful blue eyes, but everytime I look into my daughters' eyes, I will see her reflected in them. There was only one thing that could get her dander up, so I will attest to the fact that SHE NEVER DYED HER HAIR!!! We love you Myrt

I will never forget you Grandma Myrt. My sister is right; you always did give the best back rubs and always remembered each and every one of our birthdays. I have so many memories of you and us as a child that I will never forget. You have really taught me to keep fighting until the end. I can't wait to see you again.
I Love You!!

I remember Myrt as a strong force at Marlene's Hair Design on Wednesday mornings, along with all her cronies. That was 20 years ago, and I have noticed as she slowed down, a steady progression of family members getting her to and from those appointments. What a testament to her strength, will, and good grooming! Really, a quiet indication of the love, respect, and devotion her family had for her. Well deserved, I am sure. My and my daughter's prayers are with you all. Love, Mary Ellen

Sue & Jeanne, Myrt was a special lady in Cary. No one EVER made a
better Italian beef!! My mom enjoyed her company many times.I will
always remember spending time with her at the weddings in Vegas &
in Littleton! I know how much you will miss her, but I KNOW there were
many friends and family to greet her when she arrived in Heaven! She
will live on through each of you every day of your lives.

Aunt Myrt was so special to me and will be missed so much.
I will never forget her smile when I would walk though her door, usually on her birthday.
When it was time for me to go home ,she always made mollases squares and sugar cookies for my trip home.
For 40 years she never forgot my birthday, always sending a card.
She was LOVED and will be GREATLY MISSED. Heaven has another ANGEL, MS Myrtle

Aunt-Aunt Myrt,

Well, prop me up beside the jukebox and let the good times roll. You knew how to keep everyone in line with a great sense of humor. You'll be missed for goodness’ sake. I'll always cherish your visits to Colo. where you told it like it was, and when the fridge was never cleaner. Your memory will live on in your Italian beef sandwiches and the strong kids you reared.

I will miss my Aunt Myrt so. When my mother died in 1973 she stepped up to the plate to help me along the path of adulthood, coming to help after the birth of my kids---never forgetting my birthday, kids' birthdays, Xmases, communions, graduations, weddings etc etc. When Aunt Myrt came to visit it was always so much fun---such a positive attitude and a ton of energy! She could clean and cook up a storm in no time at all---if Heaven wasn't clean when she arrived, it will be now!
