Nadia WOLODKO Obituary

WOLODKO, Nadia August 6, 1916 - February 22, 2004 It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family of Nadia Wolodko wishes to announce her passing at the age of 87. She now rests with our Lord Jesus Christ. Nadia leaves to mourn six loving children: Lydia Liviniuk, Andrew Wolodko (Shirley), Peter Wolodko (Verna), Vera Shabada (Paul), Alex Wolodko (Joan) and Helen Siemens (Bob); 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother Bill Andreychuk (Sheila); sister Helen Green; sisters-in-law Marilyn Andreychuk and Jean Shumborski; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edward in 1959; son-in-law Peter; grandson Paul; great-grandson Christopher; her parents Daniel and Mary; sister Milaina and four brothers Walter, Boris, Alexander and Richard. A Celebration of Nadia's life will be held on Friday, February 27 at 10:30 a.m. from Parkland Funeral Chapel, 3502- 44 Avenue, Stony Plain, with Reverend Bill Ney officiating. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Seba Beach (1/2 Mile West of Jack Pine Hall). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Suite 1010-10117 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5J 1W8 or to the charity of the donor's choice. We will always love you and miss you dearly. With God's grace you can now rest in peace with no pain.
