Nancy Bayer Obituary
Three years ago, Nancy was diagnosed with Lewy Body dementia. She remained at home, lovingly cared for by her husband of 52 years, Rick Bayer.
Nancy leaves two daughters, Michelle (Lynn) Beach and Bethany (Rick) Vernon and granddaughters Madi, Hannah, Kaitie and Becca.
She was a graduate of the class of '67 at St. Agnes High School.
Nancy enjoyed golf, jazzercise, reading, gardening, and family gatherings. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and a cherished friend.
Rick credits the support he received in caring for Nancy to his 8 siblings, and Nancy's 6 siblings, Joan SSJ, Dave(Rose), Carol(Ben), Michael(Sandy), Marie and Matt all who will miss her smile, her humor, and her caring nature.
A special thanks to Dr. Emily Clark, U of R Memory Care Center Staff and U of R Hospice Care.
A Mass will be held to celebrate Nancy's life at Blessed Sacrament Church on Monday, November 27th at 10:00 A.M.
Donations in Nancy's memory may be made to: U of R Memory Care Center and U of R Hospice.

Sending thousands of prayers for peace and strength to Nancy's family. I am a Jazzercise Instructor in ER, and often had Nancy in my classes. She was an important part of the ER Jazzercise morning family and a proud member of the front row! Our heartfelt condolences to the Marshall and Bayer families on the passing of Nancy into heaven. Nancy and I spent formidable years as "besties" at Blessed Sacrament and beyond. The years apart do not diminish my sadness. Nancy was a wonderful gal and I shall never forget her smile and laughter. I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. Nance, I am so grateful for the memories we shared in days gone by. Families, may you find peace and comfort in her memory.

Nancy was such a bright light, a warm and caring person. I always enjoyed her company - her laid back demeanor and wonderful sense of humor. Rose Mary invited Nancy to sub on our golf foursome years ago, and a friendship was born. My condolences to Rick and the entire family. I´ll miss you Subby

Nancy was beautiful. All you had to do was look at her face to tell what she was feeling. She wore her heart on her sleeve. As a new neighbor, Nancy was shy...or she just liked her family circle, and was reticent to join us...the ladies of the neighborhood who got together about once a month or so, but little by little she would join our group. She always remembered me by giving me chocolate covered peanuts every Christmas....such sweet and genuine memories!
