Nancy A Berry, 88, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Boone Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on April 20, 1935; a daughter to the late Earl Bolender and Doris (Waller) Bolender.

Berry was a 1953 graduate of The Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. She was passionate about education, politics and human rights. She was a long standing member of the League of Women Voters, long time contributor to the ACLU and volunteered at both Loaves and Fishes and the local library.

Berry is survived by son, Brian Patton of New York City, New York; daughter Nancy (Patton) Bishop of Cleveland, Ohio; daughter Susan (Lott) Schultz of Columbia, Missouri; 7 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister Beverly "Bedo" (Bolender) Mulder.
