Nancy has been a cherished close friend to me for 50 years. She was encouraging, loving and generous as well as inciteful, creative, intelligent, and informed. She radiated with a remarkable wit and a zest for exploring new ideas. The depth of love that she had for her children, her parents, her siblings and her friends was exceptional and rarely matched. She was a person I could either laugh or cry with. O, the caring ear of a friend...What an enormous silence there will be.
