NANCY BROWN Obituary
Born at home in Smithsburg, MD, on September 7, 1935, she was the daughter of the late John Sanbower, Jr., and Carmen Marie Law.
Nancy graduated from Smithsburg Highschool, Class of 1954.
She was a homemaker and a past member of the Smithsburg Historical Society.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband Donald E. Brown of Smithsburg, MD, daughter Teresa Ann (Brown) Beck and husband William Keith Beck, grandson, William James Beck, of Woodbine, sisters, Susan Oswald (George) of Smithsburg, MD, Patsy Flook (Bob) of Smithsburg, MD, brother-in-law, Robert Brown (Julia) of Hagerstown, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by her brother Ronald Lee Sanbower, US Army (Vietnam).
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 1:00 pm, at Smithsburg Cemetery, 68 W. Watyer St., Smithsburg, with Pastor Julia Brigham officiating.
Memorial donations can be made to the Smithsburg Library, Smithsburg EMS, and Smithsburg Fire Company.
Arrangements were made by J.L. Davis Funeral Home, and online condolences can be offered at www.jldavisfh.com.
