Nancy Lee Colangelo

Nancy Lee Colangelo (nee Mangione) of Congers, NY, 71 years old, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2018. Nancy was born in the Bronx, but was a longtime resident of Rockland County. She was born on July 10, 1947 to Marion and Angelo Mangione. She graduated from Columbus High School in the Bronx and married Stephen, in 1963. She enjoyed bingo, shopping, and taking care of her family. She spent many years working as a waitress at Amici Restaurant and Hilltop Restaurant in Nyack. Her greatest joys came from her family. She is survived by her daughters Denise Tognoli and Lisa Ann Colangelo; her sons Stephen and Vincent and sons-in-law Tony Tognoli and Dennis Azzone. She is also survived by her brother Paul Mangione and wife Joan, and beloved niece Jessica Mangione, beloved nephew Ralph Mangione Jr and his wife Rosalia and their daughter Francesca, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Ralph. She will be missed by all who knew her. "Because you loved me".

Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 5 from 2- 4pm and from 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 13, at 10am at St. Anthony's Shrine Church, Nanuet, followed by interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cancer Research.
