DAVIDSON-NIEMANN Nancy L. Davidson-Niemann, 70, of Ashville, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at her residence. She was born July 2, 1941 in Louisa, KY to the late Virgil and Cordelia (Hammond) Hanshaw. Nancy retired as a Beautician. Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Survived by her children, Jeff (Vicki) Davidson of Columbus, Karen (Steve) Hayes of Chillicothe, Barbara Morse (Steven Tye) of Ashville, and John Davidson (Keitha Strathie) of Columbus; grandchildren, Steven (Meggan) Hayes, Amanda (Jacob) Fisher, Tasha (Miguel) Orta, David Morse, Sarah Page; great-grandchildren, Hanna, Layla, Miguel, and new to be Jaycee; sisters, Rethal Smith of Columbus, Sarah Myers of PA.; brothers, David Hanshaw of SC, Virgil Hanshaw and Curtis Hanshaw, both of KY; numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 7, 2012 from 1 p.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at the OLIVER-CHEEK FUNERAL HOME, 420 W. Main St., Ashville with Matthew Hayes officiating.
