Nancy I did not have the Pleasure of meeting this Wonderful Woman and for that I am so sorry.. It is a great Pleasure in our very short time on this Earth to meet exceptional people and I am so sorry I didn't get to meet her. I am so very glad and Happy that you had such a wonderful person in your life and on your side. In life these are to far & few between and we as the citizens of this Earth should make sure we are this kind of Loving and Beautiful person, but Unfortunately we do not meet this requirement. I Thank God and Praise him for allowing you this simple Pleasure as to have someone so Special in your life. I have no right to tell you or to imply that she is in a better place as I do not know this to be the Truth...I will only find that out when I pass into the Pearly Gates of Heaven. Just take Pleasure in the fact that you were so special that God himself brought this person into your life....Remember that Love is Unconditional and it is like a marriage no beginning no end...So this is really not your & her ending. I see it as a continuance of what has always been. Unconditional Love for another human being. Hold onto that for it is as special as a fresh fallen snow or a sun rise...I Love & Respect you & what you try to do for everyone...Most people think of only their selves..But I am a testimony that could stand up in court that you Nancy do more for others than for yourself and for that I am so Pleased to one know you and two... to know that this still exist in a world that is full of turmoil and hate...Thank You Nancy for being my Hero...Much Love to You & Your Family in this time of need...May God Wrap His Ever Loving Arms around you All and Give You Peace & Tranquility..Love Ya Sis <3

Dear Mom:
I owe you my life. I love you. You are amazing!! I have so much to say and so much to do with you. I will always have dinner with you on our birthday, I will share Mother's Day with you. I will dribble with my eyes up and palms off the ball. I will not travel and I will try and shoot with my wrist. I gave up making that shot years ago with my life, but to see what you have accomplished, I will try and shoot for a better life with you in mind. I am sorry I didn't do it sooner. Your amazing mom and I love you and I miss you. Love, Nancy Dougherty Jr.

Nancy was a legend in Philly/NJ girls basketball...She ALWAYS had a kind word about her players...This spring will not feel right without seeing Nancy on the sidelines of the AAU tourney...My thought and prayers are with the family at this time

My heartfelt thoughts and condolences go out to Nancy's family. She was many things to many people and we must all be in shock and saddened by her sudden departure. Nancy was a friend and mentor, since 1984 - we talked at least once a week. Her gifts into the realms of energy and healing fostered her tireless quest for such knowledge, allowing her to help people be their very best. We shared her always evolving healing - energy work. I know she wants it to continue to evolve. Please contact me if you have been working in this way with Nancy so we all can stay connected.
