Dear Geller family,
I was so sad to hear about Mrs. Geller's passing.
I will always remember her huge smile and joyful presence around the pool (even after spending hours within the chlorine-fumed walls at the various swim or diving meets and practices).
Please accept my sincere condolences.

To the Geller Family,
I would like to express my profound sadness at the passing of your wonderful mother and wife. I have such fond memories of hanging out with Lianne and your family as a young girl, and central to those memories are of course Nancy. She was without a doubt a force of nature and positive energy. Her smile was so warm and welcoming, in particular to me as a small girl, that I was always felt embraced and loved when I came to visit. Every time I saw her, out would come the hugs and kisses. I was pulled into all the family activities. There was no being shy and holding back when Nancy was around, she wouldn't let me.
I have so many fond memories of her, but the one that stands out the most involved her and Larry (who also was incredibly lovely to me). We were watching a movie in the family room and I could see out of the corner of my eye that Nancy had her head on Larry's lap and that he was stroking her hair. As a young girl, I thought to myself gosh that must be SO annoying to have your hair petted like that. Then I caught a glance at Nancy's face which had this little half smile and was all relaxed. Then I looked at Larry who was looking at her with such love that I quickly changed my mind about it being "annoying". I clearly remember thinking to myself that I want that kind of marriage when I grow up. Even as a young girl, I recognized what a deep and abiding connection they had. To this day, I can still recall that moment clearly.
Nancy was such a wonderful lady. Even though I haven't seen her for years, I still carry those moments of her kindness and love with me.
Once again, my deepest sympathy to all of you.
Love Stephanie Boulianne

To the Gellers,
Please accept our sincerest sympathy for your loss.
I spent many years watching and to a large degree idolizing Mitch, in and around the Pointe-Claire pool. In those years, I met Mrs Geller maybe a handful of times but was always left feeling better for it.
Her truely genuine smile and demeanor will never be forgotten.
Take care of each other in this time of mourning.

To the extended Geller family. I was truly saddened to learn of Nancy's death. I have such fond memories of her and of all the Geller family - not just the swimming memories but the time Nancy and Larry cycled from Toronto to Montreal and stayed with me, the trips with Nancy to the restaurants and cafes of bohemian Montreal, and the many hours spent at the pool too - you bet. My deepest condolences on your loss.

Dear Mr. Geller, Jody, Rob, Mitch, Lianne and family,
I am deeply sorry to learn of Mrs Geller's passing. Without so many miles between us, I would have liked to have been there today for any support I may have been able to provide during this sorrowful time. Thoughts of strength and healing were often sent to the "sugar bush" over these last few years from a way out here in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies...and now I send both thoughts and prayers to all of you during this time of loss. With fond memories and sincere sympathy,
Dave Gillies

Dear Mitch, and Rob, and Mr. Geller, Although I don't see you guys too often, I think of the good times Mitch and I had at the Marina, and seeing Rob at swimming parties and things with Mark. Anyways, my Dad just told me the sad news, and I wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you, and am very sorry for your great loss. My sincerest condolences to your whole family. Love and sympathy, your friend,
