Gerilyn, I was so sorry to hear from my Dad last Eve, that you had lost your Mom. I know you were very close to her, as I am to mine.A good friend of mine has said many times to others, as he no longer has his parents living, "you don't truly become an adult until you've lost your parents."....how sadly true.Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers.Take care of yourself and your children at this very sad time. If there's anything we can do,or you want to talk, please call me 612-845-0009.Love, Criss and family

Dear Giel Family,

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother, Nancy.

Nancy was always a gracious hostess, always made me feel welcome, and would always take time to listen with great interest to my ramblings. She was a wonderful person. I am so sorry for all of you for your loss.

Your mom and dad and grandparents were kind, funny, and such very good people.

Gerilyn, Paul, Tom and all of the Giel family,

Words alone cannot express the sorrow I've felt upon hearing of the passing of your Mother, Nancy. May you find strength amongst eachother. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Youth fades; love droops, the leaves of friendship fall;

A mother's secret hope outlives them all."

Dear Paul, Jr.

I just got a note from Andrea Nichols, Assistant to Carol Ann Mackay, about your mom. I had many wonderful, fun conversations with Nancy and can't believe she is gone. She was such a fun person and a real lady. Your dad and I used to talk Gopher Hockey every Monday morning during hockey season as we both loved the sport. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. (I retired from being Harvey Mackay's Administrative Assistant in 2002 and that is how I knew your parents.

It is with great sadness to learn of

Nancy's untimely death. With her late husband Paul Giel, my wife Thelma and I enjoyed many wonderful

times with the Giels. Nancy was a

class act in every way. She was a beautiful person both inside and out. We wish God's blessings on her

soul and His comfort for her family and friends. SHE WILL BE MISSED BY ALL WHO NEW HER.

With our love, Keith & Thelma Johnson, life long friends!
