Nancy Lavinna Green, of Galax, Virginia died on April 25, 2022, at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was born on February 27, 1935, in Independence, Virginia to Lonnie Isom and Elva Lundy Jennings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Seabolt, her sister, Neisel Bonham, and her brother, Thomas Jennings, and a step-great granddaughter, Starr Mae Elisala LeBlanc.
She is survived by her husband, John Wiley Green of the home, one daughter, Judy and Joe LeBlanc of Sorrento, Florida; son-in-law, John Seabolt of Elk Creek, Virginia; sister, Thelia and Walter Lee Hampton of Sparta, North Carolina; brother-in-law, Ray Bonham of Galax, Virginia; two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, five step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel in Independence, Virginia by the Rev. Ernie Smith. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Independence, Virginia.

I just seen this obit, John just want you to know how special Nancy was to anyone that knew her. It has been a few years since I last seen her but as always she had that warm welcome and smile. I miss the days of our combined family reunions. Praying for you and your family.
