Nancy Huerta Obituary
She is preceded in death by her mother, Delia G. Guevara "Mommy Dolly"; her grandparents, Clara R. Gonzales and Marciano Gonzales.
Nance is survived by her father, Jose Huerta; devoted son, Justin J. Huerta (Raelene Metzger); and granddaughter, Desirae L. Huerta (Diana Gomez). Along with her loving and protecting sisters, Elizabeth H. Macias "Lisa" (Rigoberto) and Veronica "Betty" Huerta; beloved nieces and nephew, Iliana M. Nuñez "Lana" (Keith Singleton), Amanda N. Nuñez "Nunu" (Leticia), Haylee R. Huerta, and Jose L. Nuñez Jr. "Joey". She is also survived by numerous cousins, uncles, aunts, and many loving friends.
She had a beautiful soul with a heart of gold that enlightened any occasion along with her infectious sense of humor. She was loved by many that God called her home to become an angel in heaven. She will be missed, but never forgotten. We love you "Nance"!
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel with Pastor Guillermo Enriquez officiating. Interment will follow to Harlingen-Combes Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jose Nunez, Amanda Nunez, David Garza, Veronica Huerta, Ariseli Modica, Sergio Gonzales, Gabriel Gonzales, and Sam Huerta.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home 1002 E. Harrison Ave., Harlingen, TX 78550 (956)364-2444.

My dear sweet friend, although I didn't have the pleasure of knowing you but a few short years,I am glad we crossed paths because you truly were the embodiment of friendship, there was no one you would not help if they needed it,you always had a smile on your face even when going through the worst of times. My family, Bro Pepe,Desiree, Jasmine, mom, Laura, Sam, Adrian, Salvador,my seven grandkids, Nick, Anthony, Ethan, Nathalya, Sara, Madyson, Adrian Jr. Connie and I will never forget you my dear friend. And I know you will understand my reasons for not being able to see you one last time, my only regret even though we texted on your last day alive was that I wasn't there in those last hours to heal your hurt, my wish is that you didn's suffer and that you went peacefully. I was shocked to hear that my cousin Nancy passed away.I was planning on visiting Nancy and others sometime this summer. I haven't seen Nancy up close for many, many years. I only got to see and here from her on facebook. I am going to miss her posts. Her posts were great and informative on what she liked to do. She was a real cowboy fan and she loved to hang out with friends and family.I like to do those things. I wish I could have talked to her sooner. Rest in Peace Nancy
