Angelita Noriega Obituary
She is preceded in death by her parents Luis and Josefina Cortez.
She is survived by her husband José Noriega; by her children José Luis Noriega and Evelyn Noriega; by her siblings Maria Luisa Jimenez(+Eduardo Jimenez), Guadalupe Saldivar(Joe Saldivar Jr.), Margarita Cortez, Alfredo Cortez and Isabel Mares(Pedro Mares Jr.); and by her nieces and nephews Eduardo Jimenez Jr., Marisol Jimenez, Elizabeth Jimenez, José Inocencio Saldivar III, Susana Saldivar, Kathryn Lopez(Armando Ezequiel Belmares) and Andrew Mares; and by her great nephew Armando Ezequiel Belmares.
Angelita worked as a teacher for 15 years for La Joya ISD and Headstart McAllen ISD. A special thank you to the caring staff at Amara Hospice.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel, Chapel of Serenity in Mission from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Funeraria Del Angel at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
