Nancy McLennan Obituary
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Claire (Richards) and Donald "Lefty" McLennan. Nancy was the beloved mother of Katie (Joe) Catanzarite, Nicholas "Nick" (Joanna Oskwarek) Seroka, and the late Kelly Seroka. Lovingly known as Grandma McLennan to Cecilia, Rocco, and Malia, she also held a special place in her heart as Grandma Nancy to several bonus grandchildren.
Nancy was a dear sister to Donna (Tom) Ray, Jim (Lynn) McLennan, Sue (David) Blaydes, and the late Bob (the late Peggy) McLennan. She was a cherished auntie and great-auntie to many nieces and nephews and their children. Affectionately known as "Miss Nancy," she was a loving bonus mom to countless friends who confided in her and found comfort in her advice and kindness over the years.
A funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parish (formerly St. Julian Eymard), 601 Biesterfield Rd., Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. Central Time. Per her wishes, Nancy's cremated remains will be interred with her late daughter Kelly at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's name to Almost Home Foundation, PO Box 308, Elk Grove Village, IL 60009-0308.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Chicagoland Cremation Options of Schiller Park, IL.

Nancy was a sweetheart.
We´ve known her about 13 years. Ever since Jared and Lauren met. When we would visit Chicago we got to see her at Blaydes events. She was always nurturing, kind and caring. She will be missed.
Rest in peace Nancy.
