Henry Whitehead March 3, 1952- March 26, 2008 COLUMBUS, GA— Henry Whitehead, 56, of 2036 7th Street, Columbus, GA. passed away on Wednesday at Columbus Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2008 at Springfield Baptist Church in Waverly Hall, GA. with the Rev. Frederick L. Small officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 until 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, according to Hill-Watson Memorial Chapel. Mr. Whitehead was born March 3, 1952 in Harris County, GA., son of the late Nellie Pearl Whitehead. He is predeceased by two brothers, Olin Thomas and Johnny Pugh. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Whitehead, Columbus, GA.; a brother, Mack Allen Pugh, Columbus, GA.; three aunts, Annie T. Willis, Detroit, MI., Mattie Mae Willis, Detroit, MI. and Daisy Birt, Waverly Hall, GA.; eight nieces, two nephews, a devoted cousin, Linda Walker, Cataula, GA.; several other relatives and friends.
